week 2, 1/31/11 (Anthropology 3550)

Didn't go to class today....for personal reasons however i would like to talk about health. A big part of maintaining an optimum health status for me is excercising! I am a very outdoor type of person, i enjoy hiking alot. Occasionally i like to hike koko head in hawaii kai. Hiking is a great stress releif especially comming off a week tht has been invested upon study and homework. To see that i am in good health i take into great concern about my nutritional status! everymeal in a day i like to add in any type of fiber as a part of attaining vitamin and mineral sources. ideally, a whole size serving of fruits as dessert, oranges, apples, bannannas! I have also maintained the foods i intake according to recommondations in measurements, simply being mindful of the carbs, protein, fat and spice additives, as well as other food components in moderation. It is hard to keep a high nutritional status. I am willing to take the challenge this semester to keep motivated of healthy food choices and excercise!
